I write about ideas and imaginations I have had. Things that would make the kid me proud to think. I never stopped pretending always some kind of superhero story playing out in my head or dreaming about a career that has taken off. I also think up fantasy worlds. My favorite kind of fantasy worlds are ones that have some kind of correlation to our own present reality. Narnia, The Dark Tower, Neil Gaiman's work and H.P. Lovecraft find themselves amongst a throng of interesting takes of reality. These worlds have a correlation in that, while they are inhabited by impossibilities in a strictly realistic sense, they encompass human experiences in a way that grows bones and flesh. I also love monsters especially ones that embody something very not human while hovering just on the edge of a concept that every person can relate to. I think of H.P. Lovecraft's monsters; how they all embodied insignificance while still being creatures of purpose. Purpose beyond what humans were capable of understanding or participating in. Which brings me to my own book and what I will be building into it. I am creating a world where God has set rules in place that overlap with spiritual realities. These substructures of the world are the ecosystems of creatures that operate upon the "knowing" that all humans have in their hearts. Creatures of light and flesh that upon seeing them might cause you to despair or realize ultimate hope. _Photo by [Gian.](https://unsplash.com/photos/jZxairpkhho?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText) on [Unsplash](https://unsplash.com/search/photos/light?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=creditCopyText)_
